We SELL popcorn, We DO NOT PAN HANDLE.
We are in front of stores to sell popcorn, not to ask for
donations. If offered we accept donations.
The purpose of this activity is to teach Scouts how to earn
money, that rewards are earned not given.
Lowe's on S. Battlefield Blvd. The schedule is now posted for 2017.
Please remember the businesses that actually support our efforts
to make money and support them first. Tell the manager you spend your money
with them because they support our efforts, and thank them; good relations for
next year start now.
These businesses wanted a single contact person from the BSA to reduce schedule conflicts. We
would have lost their support if we had not given them one contact for the B.S.A. units. Contacting them after they have been promised a single
contact is both confusing and annoying to these businesses. Remember they do not have to allow us to stand at their
door. Please be considerate and follow their wishes
If a business requests a 501 number to allow you to sell at their store,
you should be able to get the tax exempt number from either your Treasurer, or your Charter Organization.
