1) Ok now that we have a goal how much popcorn should I
be ordering?
You
should order enough for all the take orders you have gotten for immediate delivery: Then enough to cover at least your first
weekend sale table. All the popcorn
comes 8 pieces to a case, except for the big tin items which are 1 to a case.
2) We have never had a sale table before how much will cover it?
That
depends on where you will set up; remember it is better to have too much than not enough.
There are 12-16 weeks of Show & Sell and the unit will also still be able to get
Take Orders as Show & Sell goes on. How much can you store?
The
$10.00 tins sell the fastest at a table,
The Microwave is the best value and popular, however it has gone up to $20.00
The tins at $20.00 sell but not as fast, unless you have practiced the up-sell.
I would plan on 11/2 cases of $10.00 tins & 1 case each of the microwaves, and 1
case of the $20.00 tins for the entire sale day, based on a 6-8 hour day.
Now the chocolates are a double problem, they melt, and they are pricey. Do you have some large coolers to store them? If you do then
take what you can fit, maybe 4 of each. If you can not keep the chocolate cool
do not bring it to your table, take an order form and use it instead.
This is in addition to the Take Orders that you have. So
figure out how many sale hours for your first table, and collect the current Take Order sales and you have your first pick
up.
You
did not list the $30 to $50 tins.
That is because they are expensive, very perishable, and not returnable. I really have not found that combination to be an asset at a sale table. I
keep an order form at the table, and take a pre-paid order to deliver, but I do not waste a lot of space in storing them.
I actually only pick them up if and when I have a paid order for them.
